What counts as a 'small repair'?
Things like tightening hinges, fixing a running toilet, patching drywall, replacing outlets or light fixtures, caulking, swapping filters, adjusting doors that stick — the stuff that piles up. If it takes under two hours and doesn't require a permit, it's probably on our list. Not sure? Just ask when you sign up.
What if I don't use all my hours in a month?
Hours don't roll over, but your handyman will always find something worth doing. Before wrapping up, we walk the house with you and note anything for next month. You'll never feel like you wasted the visit.
Do you do remodels, decks, or kitchens?
HandyPlan is focused on recurring maintenance and small repairs — not full remodels. But our parent company TC Canyon handles kitchens, baths, decks, pergolas, and whole-home remodels. We're happy to connect you. Just call (505) 908-0196.
What about materials — who pays for those?
Materials are billed at cost — no markup. Your plan covers labor only. We'll always tell you what's needed before buying anything, so there are no surprises on your bill.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. No contracts, no cancellation fees. Just let us know before your next billing date and you're done. We'd rather earn your business every month than lock you in.
Do you send the same handyman every month?
That's the goal. We assign you a primary handyman who gets to know your home over time — where the shutoffs are, what's been fixed, what to watch. Consistency is a feature, not an accident.
